Chair revamp

If you ask me what's my favorite tool when it comes to my DIY, I have no hesitations: spray paint.
It's easy, cheap and you can get a very nice result with a bit of practice {my dad taught me, he was used to paint cars!}. Here my last "file": is not even a proper "diy", it's more a "revamp". The old Eames look-alike chair {that I was using at my desk} wasn't white anymore, but a bit yellowish. Since I find it very comfortable, I decided to give it a new look. I simply spray painted using a lovely shade of blue with a matt finishing and I was so pleased about the result that I moved it to the living room.

Se mi chiedete qual è il mio strumento preferito quando si tratta di DIY, non ho esitazioni: vernice spray.
È facile, non troppo costoso e si può raggiungere un bel risultato con un po' di pratica {mi ha insegnato mio papà che lo faceva per lavoro con le macchine!}. Ecco il mio ultimo "file": non è nemmeno un vero e proprio "fai da te", è più un "rinnovamento". La vecchia sedia finta Eames {che stavo usando alla mia scrivania} da bianca era ormai un po' giallastra. Siccome la trovo molto comoda, ho deciso di darle un nuovo look. L'ho semplicemente dipinta con una vernice spray di una bella tonalità di blu con finitura opaca e sono stata così contenta del risultato che l'ho spostata nel living.
